Re-fitted the bonnet today and set about the head lights.
On the MOT, the tester said he "adjusted" the head lights by putting some packing behind the light units. Only today did I realize what he did. I have had to re-make the backing plate as each was about 50mm off level.
Left one
Right one
When the sticky stuff has gone off I'll glass them over
Oh and a photo of the dash

We after over a year it's now on E-Bay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=161309170392
I am forced to sell it now as it just keep getting more and more damage around the workshop, the final straw came when the screen got bust when the cover got caught and pulled off
It will be nice to see what the final price will be ?Although I do'nt think it wll make 32,000 euro

Well, after only 36 hours it's 1708 hits, 170 watchers and 16 bids
The bidders are from the UK, Germany, France and even Switzerland.
I have also had several offers to buy-it-now but I want to wait and see what happens at the end.

Half way through the auction and it's had 3131 hits, 212 watchers and 30 bids.
It's looking good but most of the bidder are from outside the UK

I think because of the issues building and registering they like to buy a uk registered mot'd car and import it ..the paper work is easier

Well done on the sale Micky1mo, Over £8k again on an unfinished G46. I wonder what a nice finished example would bring? If I had more spare time I would be looking for a Scimitar donor myself right now.

Thanks, I am pleased and the workshop will have more space to finish the Pilot Super Sport
Just spoke to the winning bidder and he's been after a G-46 since GJ first started to built one.
He actually wanted one with twin humps so he's well pleased to get the only twin hump G-46 ever built
I still have a complet Lotus Elite waiting for a conversion so I might be in the market for another G-46 shell myself BMW powered of course

Many congratulations on the sale.
(It's not the only twin hump G 46 in existence by the way.....but it is the only running, MOT'd one)

I will encourage him to take part it the forum.
That said and apart from the "road development" there's only a few odd jobs to do and most of that is the personal touch

The new owner has now had the car a few days.
He's reset the tracking (6% out), lower the seat by removing the runners and refitted rear brakes.
Road test are going fine speeds of 85mph first time out and it draws large crowds of onlookers where ever it goes.
So if your in Kibworth, Leicestershire keep your eyes open it looks stunning on the road
