Default Windscreen bonding

Has everyone used proper windscreen bonding agents with primers?

I am thinking about using sikaflex as I still have a full tube but am unsure if it is suitable?

Cheers

Craig, I've used Sikaflex and so far no problems.
I only used adhesive around the base where it sits on the dash mould. Around the rollcage I used a self adhesive foam strip on the cage tube that the capping clamps the screen down on to. Seems to work OK and will make removing the screen much easier if I need to!

Cheers Rich, I might do a combo of sikaflex and bond then! absolutely hate messing around with primers!

Ps Have you sorted your charge lamp yet?

As you know wiring is my strong point, haha so I have not even attempted it if it had you stuck

Ha! No. I've been pretty lazy recently so no progress on the charge light. Just trusting in Honda reliability instead

Having just removed my screen (ooohhhh that was fun), I can assure you that the windscreen bond really does do what it say!

If you want to be certain your screen is on, and on well, I'd go the route of proper windscreen adhesive.
