Mike deleted most of the thread back when he was trying to deny that his V8 cordite had anything to do with the Sammio range so that he could take moulds and build them under the miglia name.

El Primer - Unfortunately, a search will do you no good, as the contents of the original thread were deleted.
( No doubt covered by Andy's PM to Mike, so I'll not post a link to it here. )

Mike - If it helps, here are some photos of the V8 bonnet of the Miglia Speedster.

Cheers, Paul.

Have a feeling the thread got deleted for, ahem, political reasons.

It was shortly after Andy P57 bought the Sammio company, when Mike, who used to work for Sammio, started advertising a rival product that looked suspiciously like the V8 Cordite that he'd been putting together. It seems the thread mistakenly gave the impression that the Miglia was just a rip off of the Sammio product which wouldn't have been a very fair business practice.

All sorted amicably now though apparently...

It was clocked at 200mph on the M1, at which point the upturned wheelbarrow on the bonnet flew off and caused a huge pile-up.

I'm afraid not .
Mike wasn't happy with using that body because of the amount of filler in it doing the changes to design and used it as a plug only. the body was cut up and disposed of , the chassis remains in waiting for another project , wheels and tyres went on the German Miglia and the engine and gearbox are now sat in a 1927 Ford Model T Hot Rod project that was something to do with Gary J but now being finished by a friend of mine.

So the door for the first V8 example is still open.
