I've worked on the engine for the last few weeks.

The 1275 cc engine will fit on the gearbox after a few modifications.

You'll find some pics here.

A few weeks ago, I sent emails to Kit-Car Magazine, Which kit car?, and Total Kit-Car Magazine concerning the Mosquito and my website. For a few days, I'm having a lot of visitors from UK on my website. As I don't have those magazines in France, can someone tell me if there's an article concerning the Mosquito and Triad kit-cars in the last issue of those mags?

Thanks

Some news...
I'm actually working on the body. Some parts need some work. And some holes have to be tapped before painting the complete body (ie: holes for aeroscreens, etc.)

Of course, all pictures are available on www.mosquito-triad.com

Hello you all...

A little news from my project... The body shell is being repaired. The guy works really well.

The complete car comes back home on Monday. I'll take some more pics.

There's no more flames on the bonnet

I'm very happy, I've just finished the first part of the new dashboard of my Mosquito.

I make the same than the original one, in fiber glass, but this one is in machined alloy. Instruments will be fitted as in classic Minis.
I've fitted the chrome ring to add a "Mini touch"

You might wonder why the dashboard is black... It's just a black plastic fitted to protect the panel. I don't want to remove it as long as the dashboard isn't finished.

D-Day for my Mosquito's dashboard today... I've drilled the last holes and I've done what I was expecting for a long time now: I've removed the black plastic protection!

Here are some pics...

You are making some great progress there Damien, great work. I'm pretty sure your build was mentioned in one of the Mags, I can't remember which one or when but I do seem to remember at least one of them mentioning the Mosquito.

Thanks John. If You have time, could you have a look at your mags? I'd love to get a scan of this mag...

I've just finished the red roll around the passenger cell... I've also made the red piping by myself

It's quite a long time since I've post messages on the forum! I've worked a little on my Mosquito.

Last Monday, I've worked on the single wheel trailer...

Have a look at the pics...

The rear suspension is hidden in the chassis. I still have some welding to do and some finishes but it'll be done soon.

I've drilled holes for rear lights and the suspension has been modified. The shock absorber has changed and is now outside the chassis. The first solution wasn't effective at all

Rear lights would have look nicer if fitted lower but because of the shock absorber, it wasn't possible...

I've also removed the spare wheel as it was not very beautiful.
