Thanks for that info, the main reason I am going to Stoneleigh is to look at 250 Coupes so it sounds like the Grassbank one will fit the bill to have a nose around!

Default Tribute Owners Club event August 17th

Belle & Ian at Classic Coachworks say that they are now looking after the owners Club and I emailed Belle yesterday asking about events.

Anyone know a south central area pub for a Saturday lunch say August 17th / drive perhaps followed by a tea stop later ? The Pelican Inn on the A4 at Froxfield west of Hungerford has two large car parks and a reasonable menu.

Tea at the Silk Mill in Whitchurch [east of Andover] or the Longstock Farm shop cafe North of Stockbridge

https://leckfordestate.co.uk/the-cafe

https://whitchurchsilkmill.org.uk/

Who could email other owners ?

Surely Saturday 24th is the BANK holiday weekend - so rather unattractive on the roads, plus pubs and tea shops will be busier . . .

Saturday 31st possible

otherwise September 7th then we are into late September early October

if little support for August 17th then suggest we go for Saturday Sept 7th or perhaps Sunday 8th . . .

Feedback please
.

Probably best to announce a date and run with it. It isn't possible to please everyone !
Put my name down and I'll do my best to be there.

hi..
belle here.
so sorry but, there may have been some confusion ..
we don't have an owner's club as such that we run, simply because of time.. we really are rushed off feet, and, because as such, it should really be owners, collaborating together.
sorry if theres any confusion.
there is a great facebook group, dedicated to tribute automotive owners, Steve Discombe would be a great person to talk to as would the lovely dave Painter, as they are very knowledgable and friendly.

as agents, and especially with the 275 just released, other models in progress and desperately trying to find a bigger nicer unit without charging customers more... we barely have time to think.

. so sorry guys, I wouldn't want to take up the staffand let people down due to falling asleep every time I sit down due to the previously mentioned workload😁 will of course come to as many meetings as we can and bring biscuits! x

Great idea, and I will save the links for future reference. Unfortunately, much as i would like to attend, that day is not possible. I am skipping Henley Rewind in order to attend the Soton/Liverpool game, first home game of the season. End of August I will be in Poland, September would be better for me.

I shall be at the 2019 50s Specials Show at Cotswold Wildlife Park on Sunday 11 August. Remember to tell them at the entrance that you're there for the car show and the driver gets in free. The rest of the park is accessible.

100’s of matches every year, some people may even say too many . Only 1 maybe 2 get togethers a year .

Haha, and there is only one Rewind a year too. But the whole point of having a season card was so I could see the best teams in the land play live. And it is not as if I have the car to bring this time either.
