Rene - Glad to hear the chassis has been sorted out.

Is there any other work to do, or can it now be put back together?

Good luck, Paul.

Hi Rene, I was just looking at the chassis of 274 before it was stripped and noticed the rear leaf spring is the original Herald one.
These are designed to carry a much heaver body so make the ride in a Sammio very hard.

You can remove a few leafs but I have a Spitfire rear spring with a lowering block fitted to my BMW powered Sammio and the ride is quite reasonable.

Thanks for your info. I will check this. I am thinking also to modify with a stabilisator at the rear....

Regards

Rene
