That Scimtar is very nice. Didn't Chris have an Aston front end that he took from an MX5? Shouldn't take him more than a few hours to get it to fit a Scimitar. Should be a very easy build as it's just a front end. He must be looking for a new project because he must have finished the 275 by now. He has gone very quiet which means his probably up to no good!

I reckon I could have a go at one of these myself.

1969 aston martin db8 s vantage. In dark metalic blue. Built on a z3/z4 convertible. Not sure how that would look overlayed on them.

Anyone seen this Mazda RX7 bodykit from Japan ?
Reminds me a little of a mid 70´s Lancia or Maserati.

How about something similar to the new Bristol Bullet.
Z3 or Z4 based with a cut-down windscreen. (just a thought)

Windscreen on modern convertibles is structural, (roll over), so if you chop it, its modified structure.....then IVA.....

Have Bristol ever built a nice looking car?

Late 40's Bristol 400 is as good as it gets, I'm afraid. They just got fuglier and fuglier from there.

There were a few streamliiners that look nice from some angles but were never fully resolved designs to my eyes -

Both of those look more like cars from other manufacturers - BMW and Bugatti - than original designs though.

Always nice to see something new... For me it looks better from some angles than others. First impressions are that the rear screen is too narrow? The headlights are, err interesting as well.

I suppose I'm biased but the way roof flows with the cars wings works for me as a shooting brake roof

If you were to apply the same roof to a number of shooting breaks I think it would work. The gradually tilting roof and the smaller rear window makes it sporty and sleek and a bigger boot for fishing gear
