This MX5 has a great stance, but the bodywork could do with improving...

Just one issue - It has a roof!!!!!
then its perfect.
weather today 32 degrees, (yes its getting hot)and some nice country lanes
the only thing missing is the hair.

Tribute will have a roofless version out in no time im sure if the demand is high enough, he certainly did it with the mx250.

Must say it looks fantastic. Reminds me a bit of the Evanta AM recreation.

As for the grill, if AM did say something you could use the new Ford Fiesta or Mondeo grill, or even a custom Nissan 350 (AM style grill) by DamD not to mention others.

looks good chris, hope to pop down this month to see how its going with the back end. if the fronts anything to go by should look great. no stress im off satdy this week and monday the following week and tuesday after that etc.

Chris , thankyou for taking the time to entertayn me yesterday. have to say mate some of the shapes you are createing are just awesome buddy boy. this Alternative biuld is really looking great. it is incredable that the same doner car can create two different looking resultts . I love it.

oh and tell me matey how do you get it all done when you get heldup by people like me all the time?when I was there you had sevaral phonecalls and people wanting to comeand see . it must be a right pain in the jacksey with all the holdups eh? I Reckon you only put up with me becase of the scotsch eggs and eccles cakes. I knows how to :-) wangle a visit don't I?
Marion is making bread and butter pudding date and bananna loaf and homemade tomatoe pickle next . should I pop in next week? hehehehe

Could it be worth using the Fiesta Grille to make the mould? Looks as though it could do the job well, avoid any wrangle with AM? and make for a nice finish and easy-fit grille ---- Job done! Like the way things are going - I admire how quickly and artistically you can do these builds.

If this looks close enough when its finished, i'd like to fit one over the top of a vitesse, looking good thus far though.
