Z3 Donor Cars
I thought it would be a good time to start a thread for Z3 donors. If like me when you are looking you can't find the right car, then when you're not lots are available! Always the way, isn't it ?
So if you have seen one suitable please post a link here so any "would be" buyers can follow them up. I would suggest the six cylinder, manual gearbox cars are best but any thing could be considered. Most will be looking to spend upto £2k on a good one, there are plenty of choices over £3k so we won't consider those here.

I went for a 2.8 manual and didn't think any further.
With hindsight I would have thought more about interior colour as I bought one with the beige ostrich skin finish and have made myself a lot of work and some expense removing it all to fit a full black interior set.
Oh well, I live and never learn.
Bob.

I have found that the best deals are away from ebay at other places such as your local paper/ post office windows etc. I have seen two that way but missed out because they had already sold by the time I called !
Agreed , the black interior has got the retro look to start with . The early car black leather seats look good compared to the later ones with that centre bulge.

White 2.8 Auto on ebay at the moment. Low mileage 70k . Bid to around £1500 with a day to go. Also fitted with the rare hard top which would get you a few hundred pounds resale.

The Preloved ads above all look good value compared to ebay listings. Most are fixed price with ono. The red 2.2 manual looks a really good buy.

I guess its a 1.9 or 2.0 and the seller hasn't put any real info
But no one will want it and its very cheap.

Im guessing the owner is 17 or 18 ish? So with the cost of insurance im sure its a 1.9 - im not sure anyone over the age of 20 would drive it

I would need two paper bags to drive that. One just in case the first came off..the shame would be too much!

Ugh, that's nasty on every level inside and out. It is a 1.9 btw, the giveaway is the single, oval tailpipe.

There's a better one finishing on ebay Sunday morning and currently going cheap -
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1619425320...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
It's been mis-described in the title, it's not a 1.9, it's a 2 litre straight six and I almost overlooked it because of that.
