High Craig

Don't know if this is too late but have been on holiday for the past week.

The spacers are 12mm thick and I have used pvc plastic for the rings, this bring it just enough to give you the space to get the rings on.

I also had to drill a hole in the bottom of the light bucket on the car to be able to put screw in, as the lights that I have got have got the diamond shape and a P700 badge in them so screw is on bottom of lights as you put them together.

Nick

Hope you had a good holoday Nick. 12mm? That seems a lot. I had thought about having to drill a hole to get the screw in to hold the chrome rings on. Now I know someone else has done I will be doing the same. Cheers for the tips.

Getting ready for the back end to be bonded on over the weekend hopefully. Carpet bonded to parcel-shelf and soundproofing and head liner all bonded in.

Well that was a productive day finally the back end is bonded on with all the head lining in place and just a bit of trimming to finish off. I am glad that I put the head lining in first, can quite imagine it being a nightmare putting it in after you have bonded on.
Also got round to moving the wing mirrors forward which I think look better in that position.

Feel as though I'm getting somewhere now that the car is one piece, and getting to point where it just needs body work doing, now that all the fabrication and problem solving of getting things to work is done.

Looking good.....as I am soon doing the rear end on mine.....can I ask, did you sand all the "flashing" flat on the ducktail or build upwards? It might be a but different on mine as its the convertable

I sanded all the flashing back, because didn't want the filler to be any thickness in case it shrank and caused cracks or stars in the paint work latter on.

Nick - If I click on the attachment "P1100065.jpg" then I can see both the photo and the following "address" at the top of the screen:

http://www.madabout-kitcars.com/foru...4&d=1466853461

If you put at the end, the photo will appear in the post.

So the code will look something like this:

And this will be how it will appear.

So you need the full Photobucket address for each photo, which will be something like http://i1046.photobucket.com/albums/...uteAutomotive/ xxxx.jpg

Hope that helps, Paul.

PS
Your car looks good.
