Default Donington Kit Car show

Things aren't going as quickly as I'd hoped on the Cordite demonstrator and slowed even more by DVLA having their soonest check date as 11th september (By the way, Preston DVLA appear to have the right idea about rebodies and know the score! Win ) so I now have a vacant half of a stand on the Donington floor plan.
Does anyone fancy coming up to the show with their completed car to fill the void alongside my own 'Vanessa'? (Obviously that would mean a free entry for driver + 1 and I'm sure a beer or two can be arranged if you stay over)

Don't get me wrong. The Cordite demonstrator is still making very rapid progress but even I was pushing it a bit to build one in three weeks

It's a couple of weeks from completion and will certainly be ready for Exeter. Hell, I've even started the Chevaux demonstrator by stripping a 2CV already!

AndyP57 - Do you ever sleep?

Shame the Cordite will not be finished, but once I knew the bonnet couldn't be done without the body inspection I wasn't sure how you would do it in time.

Either way, you will still set the record for fastest build I'm sure.

Chap68 - I think you should add some pictures to "For Sale" thread.

You will have a much better chance of attracting the forum "lurkers" that way.

Good luck, Paul.

The Chevaux series like the Cordite and G46 will definitely benefit from a demo example in some stage of completion....

I like the way the product is going ....upward and onward...!!

Still got a wide open space, central in the main hall at Donington. If anyone can add a finished car to the picture, even if only for One day, let me know as soon as possible (At least you would get a guaranteed parking slot and a free entry). The only stipulation is that it must be in place before 9am and must stay until show closes at 5pm. happy to display 'For sale' sign if applicable

Andy, you are welcome to mine for the weekend, but I have a busy weekend so cannot make it myself. If you wanted to trailer it up and back, you are welcome to it.
You can drop it back next week or whenever is convenient, so no rush, if it helps out.

Sorry, I have been away with work and just got back and saw you still looking.

T
