Question Rubber coating for wing protection

Has anyone experience of using a brush-on "rubber" coating to protect the underside of the wings against stones being thrown up?

I have see it recommended a few times to stop start crazing on the visible side of the wing due to the impact. I think Car Builder Solutions sell something called "Wunderseal".

It seems a shame to spend lots of time and or money on painting which is then spoilt by an errant stone!

This stuff works a treat and is cheap and easy to get hold of (B&Q sell it too):

I used it on my Cabrio:
