Looking good. A minor point, would having restraint straps for the prop shaft be a good idea?

Yes I will be putting a prop catcher in the ducting is just to give me an idea of size so I can mock up the tunnel, as the car is quite narrow I would like to keep it as small as possible thanks

Managed to get some time today on the car bad weather love it. so have made the gearbox cover and prop shaft cover so moving on and can see some good progress, and in the week I have made the second door frame. The next job is to join the two half of the bonnet together.20190316_153204 (1).jpg

Keith - This is really coming together now.

Good luck with the bonnet and the rest of the build.

Cheers, Paul.

Hi had a tough couple of months so not much done, but have manage to join the two halves of the bonnet together, door frames hung and have made some side vents to help cool the engine bay. Hope to start the door skins soon if I can find some time.20190419_155309.jpg

Great job. Especially like how the door frames worked out.

It is annoying the way the outside world keeps invading our chosen path.

Over the last feu months I have decided to change the engine and box as at the start I was set on an American engine but was talked out of this, so I have gone back to where I wanted to be at the start but the long way round. I have got my self a Dodge 318 engine and manual box and a back axel, this has resulted in some major change to chasse but now back on all four wheels so progress of sorts. That's the forth engine I have tried so that where I am going to stay and now I feel I am in the right place with what I have so back to getting on with the car but sure it will through a curved ball at me some time soon. The chasse was split in two and widened by a 100mm back frame changed new engine and box mounts made and new rear suspension so not to much have to have fun some times.

When you change your mind it is a bit of a big deal. Chop the Chassis etc. Still, you have a nice workshop. Go for it!
