Right hopefully I've cracked the picture posting.
I'll start with a piccy of the base car, it's a 1.9 narrow body for £1100 including travel to Swansea and driving back selling off the bonnet and other bits the total came to £970. I've got to get this picture thang cracked |
Click the postcard and paste in the URL of your imagehttp://www.madabout-kitcars.com/foru...3&d=1413721901

Thanks redratbike for the hint so here goes.
http://<a href="http://s1127.photobu...ized/Z32-1.jpg[/IMG] I think I've cracked it, when purchased one of the faults was a fuse blowing removed the sleeve and bingo then a new MOT straight thru now I take it apart no disc cutter required http://<a href="http://s1127.photobu...esized/Z33.jpg[/IMG] http://<a href="http://s1127.photobu...esized/Z34.jpg[/IMG] now lets see! |
I seem to have cocked up agian with my pics a little box with a red X in it.........

Did you ever paint your Spyder Pat?

You should be able to edit your earlier effort to make sure it's in this format. Good luck |

http://i1127.photobucket.com/albums/...esized/Z33.jpg http://i1127.photobucket.com/albums/...esized/Z34.jpg Patton - It looks like you have a lot of stuff before the actual image location which is causing your problem. The bit you need is just - http://i1127.photobucket.com/albums/...esized/Z34.jpg If you use Chrome as your browser you can simply right-click on the picture and select "Copy Image URL" you then put [ img] but without the space, paste in the URL (CTRL-V) and then [/ img] again without the space https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?ui...&sz=w1342-h515 |
thanks guys, Chris is going to stick some more on here and the Z3 is a lovely drive but that compares to the spyder and a jago geep. The spyder is going to be painted for early next year slowly coming back together........

Yay- another one on the way- is yours #2 or #3 ???

Color
Hi,
Are you intend to leave your car in silver? I'm thinking of a z300s In silver. Do you have already some pictures? Best regards |
Hi Hutson, yes the original BMW colour with 2 black stripes like a dodge viper, I've some pictures but as you can see from the begining of the thread I'm having trouble uploading them. It's not painted yet but I'm using it daily to find any niggles before the paint goes on early next year, regards PAT

Silver Z300S
Hi Pat, that will look great! I would like to change the mirrors (http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-CHROME-UNI...-/181499953281) and put on bolt on wire wheels. I am not sure about the rear lights, they must wear an E mark on the continent. I'll fallow your project as I am intend to start mine next year (retirement).
Regards, Walter |
Walter hi, I have a set of those mirrors but they are not very good as mirrors but look good on the car still trying to find the best place on the doors or forward on the wings, my rear lights are BMW from a 2002 with a red lamp in the drivers side clear lens as a fog lamp,I'll try and get some more pictures on later cheers Pat..
|
Pat - If you put your mirrors on the door then mount them further back than on mine. I have to use a small child's hand to fit the bolts inside the doors. Also the passengers side is purely cosmetic unless you want to look at the pavement behind you as you drive.
|
I would recomend to stay clear of them wing mirrors, i have them on my mx250 and cannot see a thing out of them!
|
The thrust bearing has just eaten it's way through the clutch bugger was making a noise should have done it sooner, got to be done as shes going to Chris n Dan for a remodelling on friday....

Good luck with the clutch Pat. Hope to still see you on Friday.
|
It started with a bit of a squeak, it's not just the thrust bearing it has destroyed the plate, cover, the duel mass flywheel (all the rivets rolled out the bell housing) and the thrust bearing housing tube on the gearbox, I'll still be at Chris 'n' Dans on Friday...
