bulkhead moved and plated , also bought a 750il...

bulkhead moved and plated , also bought a 750il 5.4 so using that engine and the 5.0 v12 I was going to use is up for sale if anyone's interested ? has engine loom and done 70000 miles

donor car ?

everyone so far has said get a Granada for the donor car but a bmw 750 has come up which works perfect for parts and loom etc , is there any reason why I cant use the bm ?

thanks ian , I have a modified rear set up witch leaves very little space for the "L shaped tanks" , don't really want fuel in front of me but also don't want more weight behind the back wheels ? mmm...

also seen some ppl put the fuel tank in the front rather then the rear , I have room above the gearbox , any reasons why these would be a bad idea ?

flywheel arrived from the states , had to modify it a bit to accept clutch , made adaption plate to join bmw v12 to un1 gearbox and test fitted engine in chassis ..... now question...

ok so found a flywheel in the usa , about £500 with pilot bearing delivered , local machine shop charging double that . so good find !

I heard there is a " VOSA " manual , like some sort of check...

converting bmw v12 auto to manual , stripped engine and removed gearbox today but I now need a manual fly wheel ? cant find one for love nor money , any ideas ?????????????????

yeah got some handy bits with it , got busy week...

yeah got some handy bits with it , got busy week now as ordered 16mm ally plate for gearbox , stainless steel for fuel tanks and paint for engine !

after looking at some adapter plates I'm going to make it myself , I do quite a bit of engineering work and they look quite simple but bit more...

I need a set of rims but they seam to be "thin on the ground"

and the gearbox adaption...

Let the fun begin

Started work on it today , cleaned up the rear swing arms and got them in primer , looking for wheels in south east uk and adaption plate for bmw v12 to Renault 21 box ?
any help greatly appreciated
