or just carefully prise up the tabs so you ease the bezel off. They stick with age, and also the glass can be a bugger to get off if they are stuck - patience and a stanley knife blade to ease...

You will need to do it in short bursts. Work around the edge of the hole and that will give you something to bridge the gap. Again, don't be afraid...
