Perfect solution but I would try and source a car lock. A Chinese cabinet lock will probably rust solid as they are not intended for outdoor use.

The door card can be removed with the door closed but if the door has deadlocked you can only open it using the key in the door lock which is hidden by the 250 door skin.

The wrinkle finish can be a bugger to get right, if it isn't perfect it looks crap. Having had a couple of goes with the wrinkle paint I am sticking to the Hammerite satin.

I think it should be sold without the vents, customer would have to add them themselves. Should be made to sign a disclaimer when buying saying they won't infringe any trademarks by miss badging it....

Looking at the second picture, it looks as if Chris is using a full width 250 bonnet and necking it in to fit a Z3 using existing doors, ie no door skins.
