Maybe because it sounds like a Motorcycle on full bore?

It's actually the disabled bay I normally park in and I do get some double takes as I get out of my 'classic' and slap my blue badge on the dash. It seems people expect cripples to drive crap cars.

To be fair he sent me some photos outside a very nice hotel he was attending which hopefully makes up for this small indiscretion.

I have no issues but i remember a sign by some disabled parking

"Non-badge holders will be made eligible"
