Just a bit of paint and polish now. At least there's no rust now. Keep it waxoyl'd.

Yep, about right.
Started off as a few minor cracks and chips to repair, ended up having the whole body removed, then a spot of rust repair and now I'm prepping for another re paint.
On the good side it's given me the chance to change things I wasnt happy with.
Chris and Dan did the body removal by the way 😀

Are you not tempted to change it? After all, youve already had it that colour...

I might pop up and see you if that is okay?
You are not too far from Southampton and I want to see how you have fitted the bonnet hatch before I start mine.
I will gladly accept the offer of coffee but my bad ankle prevents me helping with the sanding. ;-)
PM me with your address and a time if it is okay to pop up tomorrow (Sunday 22nd)

Tomorrow is no good for me I'm afraid, I'm in London all day.
Not sure why you want to see my bonnet catch? Firstly I don't have one and mine is a mx250 not swb ..... But still welcome when I'm next in.

No worries about tomorrow - some other time perhaps?
It was the bonnet Hatch, not Catch. The hole in the middle of your bonnet.
The SWB has two pins that slot into holes I need to drill and is held near the windscreen by two clip pin fixings. I can see me failing to get something uneven and the panel will either be high or low compared to the rest.
Just trying to learn from others before I cock it up myself
