Had an online quote of 95. So gotta see if they can get the right pic printed. Fingers crossed they don't muff it up and print it the wrong way. I check what others come up with.

most I think understand its a comprmise between what is possible, and what would be liked,In my case the full size wires (15") with full profile tires is my thoughts, or maybe should go for knock-ons with counter rotating blades (a la Goldfinger), seriously a couple of shots of what is now would be great, the front shots looked great, but the sides I think all we had was virtuals.
Thanks

im making a visit in feburuary to see how its going. chris has got a lot on at the mo so squeezing it in when he can. I've found some more pics that give angles of wings back and front. think its a case of see what works and see how it flows and adjust where needed. bit like making a suit fit a new owner. the mx5 is wider but shorter in length the wheelbase is shorter so adapting the shape bit like the 250 gto. its amazing how he does it. have you visited the workshop

if you look at the first pics shows some nice angles. think with the period wheels on it will sit a bit taller so can adjust shape and scale from their. its all about balance. I'd love to do what Chris is doing but its experience that gets you their not enthusiasm. i can only sit and judge by eye how it goes as with any of my drawing I do at home, rule of thumb some might say to give the right proportions. thing is adapting shape to new donor and keep similar flow. its fun for me but. bit like stretching pamela anderson to claudia schiffers height. or vise versa.

EXACTLY!@!@!!
fun motoring, without a rediculous price, not meant to copy, just invoke the looks in car that looks good, drives fun and makes a 'sensible car' to run.

was thinking. possibly what would a 26inch overhang look like from the back of the rear wheel on the present shape. just playing round with proportions using the scale of the rear tyre diamater as rear over hang and how that affects the lines of the car. bit like an mr2 boot kind of thing. and possible cage extention. might help with the mx5 rear wing height. bit like the overhang on the mx250 convertible but a softer angle not so steep.

another thing wizzing round was the pivot point for the roof if it was taken from the b pillar to allow for a longer angle on the roof.

15inch, 6.5, 195 45ish tyres. could prob do with 205 tyres to protect the spokes and some extra grip :-)
