Another question.
I know I cant cut of the rear arms on the chassis but what about the exhaust bracket, can that fall off before inspection, it just seems to be exactly where I want to put the back of the tub.
Cheers Psycho

Roughly how much was it, do they do 12mm and where'd you source it from, local Norfolk supplier by any chance?

Santa came up trumps for me
Well christmas came and I was spoilt rotten, but late in the afternoon the wife gave me a bonus present, she,d saved a shiny new stainless sports exhaust for a surprise present. Today I had to offer it up. Four straight down pipes into two into one and then branching to twin boxes at the rear. She did amazing buying for the spitfire engine and allowing for the twin carb manifold. It fits a treat. Think I may do some small cut aways on the rear apron where the pipes exit just for the look, like they should always have been there.
Will post pictures later. What a woman I'm so chuffed

Fuel Filler cap, Not as straight forward as I had hoped but its getting there,
Not fully seated yet but you get the idea..
Started glassing in the bulkhead tonight, want to make a complete water tight and smooth look across the whole thing
.
And had a play with the number plate light, its sat on its own plinth now, should look better once its sealed and painted with a gasket between the two..
Thats it for now `pops'

Hey, great news! It'll be a breeze, the chap at Peterborough couldn't be more accommodating. Look forward to seeing some pictures of the process.

That is a perfect example of why DVLA frustrate me ....don't get me wrong , its a perfectly acceptable description and if you ever plan on selling overseas , it will def. be to your advantage having Triumph on the book , as its a recognised manufacturer .......
I have tried to get that description for customers abroad in the past and been told , ''no way , no longer a Triumph product , no longer says Triumph'' etc. etc.
The inconsistency of inspection criteria and vehicle descriptions etc. just show how the system is flawed......

Is there an issue with registering rebodied classics abroad then? That's funny, nobody's mentioned it before on here...
