I am interested in how Brian's going to do the dash though
But with his track record with changing dash boards to look spot on , I have every confidence
One thing I notice on sat was the amount of wife's and women who said they would drive my car and we're giving the other halfs permission

I know Brian said the interior package was going to be complete dash capping with separate gauges - a proper full disguise job. But what seats are you using if I can ask? Not sure I'm settled on my choice as it stands.
After chatting with Brian at the show (great guy) I've found a local chroming specialist who uses the same process as on your bumpers so I'm going to see them this week about getting both the GRP grille surround and bumpers done - gotta try and keep up with the Joneses!
Another detail I spotted on your car (which I freely admit I'm gonna copy lol) is the grill "chip cutter" was only polished alloy on front faces the sides of the bars looked blacked (or not polished). Noticed it straight away - much cleaner and classier look.

seats are from the company that was behind the DNA stand at stoneleigh
http://www.intatrimtelford.co.uk/ind...mart&Itemid=26
they are called challenger seats ,they are changing the base to match the Ferrari look better
I think Brian said he could fit them to the electric part of the z3 seats so they can still move forward and up via the switch

Sorry DNA Automotive will not be making a 250 swb as Chris (Tribute Automotive ) already makes one. Chris is a great guy and I have no wish to intrude on his 250 model sales.
Cheers Brian

Hi Brian,
Thank you for the reply.
I looked at both extensively at Stoneleigh, and as often noted, they are at two different price points. For me, I would rather pay more to have a better quality.
None the less, I understand your stance.
Regards

Tricky360 - I've gone back to the very first post you made on this thread:

DNA Automotive have clearly delivered you exactly what you wanted, within the confines of a practical Z3 donor.
You certainly have a great looking 'Ferris Bueller' car, so enjoy driving it.
Good luck, Paul.

The 2Fifty Cal really looks spot on.
Its a shame that I couldn't be at Stoneleigh and see it in real, but I have found the next best thing. A video on YouTube which shows the car really well.

Yeah mine are on the electric runners - I think I can see where you're going with the challenger seats. Looking forward to seeing interior done (but probably not as much as you!)

Very interesting video. Looks like the guys at DNA have really thought it all through and making it as easy as possible for the builder. I was enthralled for 45 mins - when is episode 2 ?

I got another magazine to do maybe this week , didn't even know it was in this months Mag until I went to castle Coombe and someone asked me if it was the same car ?
Went to the stand and bought a copy
Should get some interior photos maybe by the end of the week
Still a while till it's finished properly
On a side note
I bought my car blind from eBay and the electric roof didn't work
Took it to a company in dorking , they only do convertible roof repairs
They found the fault and its booked in on Friday to be repaired
They were really good to deal with.
Cayman autos are there name
