The headlights look low compared with the front of the bonnet so a big pair of chrome pod lights would look good.
Curves on that front section look as if they would be an utter pain to make, very well done.

I like the full fenders. Would it be possible to cut the pods out and move them up, filling in the sheet metal as it goes?
Remarkable work!

I prefer the original wings, gives it a more period look but with LARGE chrome pods, Bentley style.

Thanks can not make up my mind could take pods right off, lifting them up they might look just stuck on like an oops I forgot the lights. Will have to think on it.

Keith – I am sure it must be very satisfying to see the bodywork you are creating from scratch come together.
Good luck, Paul.

Thanks Paul yes quite pleased with it so far but wish I had more time to work on it. Have made my mind up on the wings I am going to use the Morgan stile wings, and have decided to change the engine. Always wanted to put in a v8 engine so going to bite the built and fit a Rover 3.5 v8 in.

Hi been a bit slow over the last few weeks with work and home, but have now finished all the body panels. I have the doors to make yet but they will be left till later after I have removed the engine and mocked up the rover v8. So have removed the body and put it aside for now, so it does feel a big step. 20181203_093128 (1).jpg

The photos show where I and building the car on the mezzanine floor above my workshop only way up is a ladder at the moment and a friend has a fork lift for heavy bits, but the best place I have to build.

How about deleting the headlight pods and replacing the headlights with large stand alone lights, but keeping the existing wings as I think they look much better than cycle wings. As per ss100 in the link, maybe just a tad smaller with the headlights!

Truly awesome. I love the idea of building on a mezzanine floor, so you can chuck stuff off the edge!

Yes nice work space but poor access, but have not got that frustrated yet, to start throwing things over the edge!
