The way DNA work im sure there will be a replica ferrari dash/interior to go with this kit when they produce it. However, as I know how they work, they will not sell anyone a dash unless you bought the full kit!

About 10 year ago when they released their 360 kit, I was building a 'dynamic performance' 360 however dynamic performance didnt have the door cards or fake disks and calipers etc, when I enquired a out buying these from DNA, their answer was simply 'i shouldnt have bought a cheap alternative!'

I know tribute arebusy with new projects, and i know its beed said before but O realy think some time should be taken so sort an interior pack out for the tribute kits....

Not interested in the dash but the car - wow!!! Moulding looks ultra clean and separate sills hidden plus the depth of door increased and wheels up inside arches. Very very impressive but likely to be 4 times the cost of a Tribute...seems to me Tribute are working all the hours God sends to build customer bespoke cars at prices DNA will never get near and they single handedly kick started the Z3 based classic rebody but z3 values are shooting up to more than Z4s!

Love the back end, coincidentally I've already bought a pair of MGB rear lights and have plans to make my own rear fins and stepped rear boot/valance to match the look of the California Spyder. I've got to say I prefer the 250SWB's stubby front end to the California's longer nose with faired in lights though. I guess I'll have a unique 250SWB/California hybrid. I wonder if it'll be exempt from the congestion charge...

The pics look good and the gelcoat is very shiny but that's great if you are leaving it in gelcoat.
If you are going to paint it as I would guess everyone is, then shiny gelcoat is a nightmare to flat and prep for paint

So are you saying this will need more prep than say, for example, the 250 swb?

Actually changed my mind a bit about it - the nose is very tall to get the curve down to the doors and rear haunch lift - if the F car inspiration is a "thin crust" then this is more a "deep pan"!

Paint wont stick to that shiny surface so you will have to sand it until the shine has gone.
If you don't prep the panels yourself and you take them to a bodyshop then the shiny coat shows every tiny imperfection and they will charge you accordingly.

...if only they could expand their workforce a bit and reorganize to accommodate these requests...

Id love a dash board mod. Just a simple version of what I've got. Usually they have a body coloured strip where the extra dials go. Bit like the classic mini's where the dials are lined up instead of a cluster. The z3 dash has a set up where the steering wheel column shape is on both sides. And they put the air bag where it would of been on other side.
