Swage lines are a must, I was going to get them filled when I got the car sprayed, but had a go myself, its not hard to do and will keep my costs down. Build looking good by the way.

progress
Hi, enjoying the updates and tips etc.
Ive decided to keep the swage line now the car has the added grile in the front wing, it works a bit better than before (in my eyes anyway)
Keep up the good work, its really coming together.

Yep I have mate and it looks great and gives you much more room for fitting the bonnet correctly. For a racer look I'd highly recommend it mate

These wheels look fantastic - just what we're looking for!
I know the car is sold now but it would be a huge help if you could please let me know where you got the wheels and spacers - would really appreciate it!
Thanks,
Alex

wheels
Hi Alex
In case Hammy's not around to answer your query, i think his wheels are made by Lenso. Im sure if you Google or search on Ebay you will find them or similar, the spinners are aeparate and come from the USA.
Also woth looking at the Dare range as they do some suitable models at a lowish price point.
Budget spinners can be found at Europa spares for c. £20 (plastic but ok for the look and light compared to the metal ones).
I loked at the Lens whels too as lthey are lovely and my cars on way to 60s Italian racer look which they suit.
Good luck with the rest of your build

Thanks everyone - really helpful. Hammy, I just have another couple of questions please if thats ok! What sizes did you get of the wheels / tyres? Did you use 25mm spacers all round? Was your car lowered? And where did you get the spinners from please? Thanks so much for your help - I think getting the right wheels is quite tricky and you got it spot on. We were looking at wire wheels but they are £1,307 for the four without tyres!
