On all the pics i have seen the front brake pipe to caliper there is a banjo fitting.

Most of the pipes were wrong on my Sportster kit too. I got my local garage to re-do the ends with the right fittings.

I had ordered that pipe flaring tool from frost.co.uk but found the results to be pretty rubbish.

It should be a straight fitting for the 'T' piece and banjo for the calliper.

There should be 6 pieces. Master cylinder to 'T' piece x2 (straight fittings) then front & rear brake callipers to 'T' piece x4 (straight & banjo).

One problem some people have is the master cylinder connection, as Rover use a couple of different sized fittings, depending on the year & model of donor car.

I have overcome this by adding a couple of short pipe lengths - male for master cylinder - female to connect to supplied pipe.

The way I got round it was to get another master cylinder from the scrappies.
