Default bumpers

looking at the IVA rules on bumpers,it implies the ends of the bumpers turning in towards the body/chassis and being within 30mm of the body/chassis, or that they loop back on themselves.Does this apply solely to the outer ends of the bumper,as most cars have one long continuous bumper, or inthe case of the marlin bumpers, do both end of each bumper need to turn inwards?
