Default Kingfisher Sprint

hey guys im new here and im planning to rebuild a mini based kit car called a kingfisher sprint. its an 80s based mini kit car based loosly on a mini jem. Only a few of them still about!

heres a few pics one when i bought the car


and what ive done so far... only had it two weeks so a few more months work yet!

Thanks John. More work getting done on it today. Wan to remove front frame and check mounting points.

Wasn't the Kingfisher based or inspired by the MiniMarcos? The front is Macosy(?) Lovely project, I'm green with envy, like JG I like the older projects. Hows it comming on?

hey guys, thanks for the replys... i have the shell almost ready for paint after doing some modifications to the shell ive made the rear hatch redundant and im changing the bonnet up.

trying to find out what to paint it with? its been taken right back to gelcoat, repairs done and then ive added a flat laer of satin black to check repairs.. can i paint enamel on this without it reacting?

cheer will get some more pics up asap.
