Default Small electrical problem - pointers please!

Went for a drive in the Shelsley last night (first propper long distance in the dark) and an electrical gremlim has reared it's head. When driving enthusiastically up a steep hill on a dual carridgeway the fuse blows for the o/s side lights and dash lights.

I'd rather not rip the car apart again to find out whats wrong so has anyone got any pointers on where to start looking? I've got the usual equipment of test bulb & multimeter.

Thanks
Chris
