Default vin plate

i bought a vortex kit a few yrs ago and due to illness i have not worked on it for a few yrs i am now well enough to restart working on it, i have realised i was not supplied a vin plate with the kit/chassis only a chassis plate. do i need a vin plate for iva or is chassis plate sufficient

get one made up plenty of people offering on ebay

get it stamped up with the details

i will find the chassis plate supplied, i think it has manufacturers name on it(phantom vortex) and a chassis number which i assume they will have got from dvla

Hi Graham

That's all thats needed, you only need to have a chassis number on the car, it can even be stamped into a part of the chassis.
