Lightweight Herald Chassis Kit
Hi GUys,
just to let you know, in light of the recent start ups of all these new Sammio based kits I have decided to launch my own budget kit, with a super lightweight chassis. More details including prices soon. Just checking copyright etc before I join in the race to rustle feathers. :-)

Can you do me one that won't fit the Sammio frame or body properly?
After all, it just wouldn't feel right if everything fitted...

Orders
Hi Mr T, due to just moving to larger premesis (back bedroom) there might be a delay in orders, but once I find my box of nuts and screws, I will get one on the go for you (chassis no1 !!!!!) please forward the deposit of £1.25 and I will get on the case. Delivery expected in two days from recieving payment. Delivery anywhere in the UK is £2.75 or £3.50 for the highlands and Northern Ireland.

Do you know if this will be TUV compliant?

Compliance
Hi Dave,
due to the original parts supplier/manufacturer (Meccano) patent being so well established there is apparently no TUV compliance issues. I have looked into requirements for IVA or SVA testing and all is fine on that front. The big bonus is that the chassis comes in a range of colours, although the choice of wheels is limited without hub adapters.
I am currently in talks with Duplo to see if I can source materials for younger donors!!

Orders
Come on guys, place your orders early to avoid dissapointment. Reasonably short lead time, with great news that toys r us have a delivery Monday.

Orders
Hi All,
I have now taken orders for twelve chassis. Lead time is moving to around ten working days. If I can get more staff at short notice, I hope to shorten the time back to a few days.
The deal with Duplo is looking good, more news when I know.
Latest news, bodyshells..... I have been in touch with Blue Peter, and subject to toilet roll and washing up liquid bottle supplies there will be a choice of body stiles coming soon. Keep your eyes out for my "teaser video" ;-))

Why am I not surprised that my chassis hasn't arrived? After paying £1.25 in full nearly six minutes ago I'm left with no chassis, no communication and no money to pay my mortgage with!
Instead of contacting or visiting the seller to see what the delay is I thought it would be more appropriate to post a reply publicly slagging off the vendor, not because I think it'll get me my goods or money back, but because I'm a venemous twonk with unrealistic expectations of a sole trader.
So, if you too have been diddled by Mr Rocker, who seems more interested in trying to run his business than pander to my unreasonable demands, then register your disgust at www.fvckthesmallbusinessman.com

Now, available: alternative to the 1958 Rocker chassis, the all new K'nex Speedster. It's a bit longer because K'nex is metric, and I have added a Playmobil wheelbarrow to the bonnet.

Ok guys, good news. Due to my current commitments and new projects on the horizon, I have been in discussion behind the scenes with a new member Herald Angel and he is going to take over the business with all the jigs and plans being signed over to him. I hope all you guys waiting for orders should get them over the next week or so. I wish him good luck with the project, and can assure you the lightweight chassis is in good hands.
I am moving onto new things, but will keep on the forum.
All the best Guys
Rocker.
(I really need to get a job, as all this sitting around trying to get away from daytime telly has sent me over the edge. Shame I didn't have a bit of spare cash, if I had I could have nearly finished my car by now) Never mind guys, wedding this year, and had planned to use the car for the honeymoon so need to get done for the two or three days of nice weather this year.

Dam you Viatron, you said we would stay partners and not release the details until the old company was sold. In that case I may have to tell everyone about your new venture, The Ribble Rubber wear collection being sold through Branches of Miglia Clothing. I was hoping to wait until Primark came back to us. I know it would be ideal for all us kit car people in our open topped cars, but I am concerned about the bondage range. Mind you there are a few on here who might back you up!!! EASY BOYS

If a branch is opened any further north it'll have to be called 'Bond(age) Equippe Ecosse'
..which will no doubt feature the 'Whiplash' style range (1*) of Ribble Rubber wear (2*)
(1*) non-head faring version
(2*) Ribbled for her pleasure

Some must-have accessories there! I particularly like the dust mask to protect your lungs that helps you carry on smoking while you work.
