a few updates and additions done.
We're starting to reach the 12,000 char limit for a single post, so i may have to rethink this thread as we continue to grow in size

If you want to I can build a register on my website ( www.mysammiospyder.co.uk) so you can add and edit the details. You can have as many characters as you like then?
I built a website for the Suzuki Owners club about 6 years ago that covered over 3000 members bikes, so I reckon I can adapt some of the pages for us. Happy to oblige if you want to.

I meant to respond to this sooner but i forgot, sorry. But this sounds like a superb idea so that we can all share ownership of the content. i.e. i have no personal reason to want to hog all of this!
We could also add a link to the Google maps locator that AndyP57 has just started: http://g.co/maps/f4ysy
and keep this all accessible from one place?
Let me know if you need any help/assistance with anything and then when it's initially up and running and the data is ported i will change the 1st post on this thread to simply contain a link to that and basic instructions.
Go collaborative ownership! (Sammio Wiki next?)

Hi Dave,
Well tirtone's idea of a register sounds easier than updating lists on here.
( Sorry, I didn't realise there was a limit to the size of a post )

And at this point we should ask the forum moderator to make this thread a "sticky".
That way the link would always be the first post on the first thread on page one of the forum.
Which in turn would make it a lot easier for new members to find.
If the register covered Spyders, G-46s & Cordites, etc. it really would be a "one stop shop".
Personally, I find the build threads a great source of information / inspiration.
Cheers, Paul.

Add me on
Hi Guys can you add me on please or it will take days!!
PE22 0QZ on google maps it highlights a place called Launderthorpe lodge. If you move along the road "Cut End Road" downwards along past the bends, my place is the next one along that road with trees before the house and a horse shoe shaped crew yard facing away from the house just past it.

Hi there,
Maybe my contribution helps solving this puzzle a bit. I got my body on the 12'th of june 2011. It got produced just before that day. The body (with D24 nose) is different. On my request the tail (behind the rear wheels) has been lenghted somewhat. I thought it would suit the D24, more stretched Italian style more, then the short tail that better suits the German style front. Gary himself wasn't too font of it, I beleive, but I'm very happy with it. I think the proof is in the eating of the pudding. When the car is ready and sprayed, then we'll see how it turns out.
Gary told me, the stretched body was number 48. same number as Trevor had been given. I guess both are produced around the same time. But obviously, there can only be one number 48. Trevor mentioned on his blog that he collected the kit on the 2'nd of july. For that matter I think I would be number 47.
My body is differ

Hi,
oops !! sorry about confusion ....you are 47 , Trevor 48 ...my mistake.
For anyone reading this , this body is the one strapped on the vitesse at the top of the 'getting started' page !
I don't mind the stretched tail ....Lancia's are stretched more than the Sammio ....but I like the bobbed one too...
The beauty of the cars is their flexibility and your stretched tail will prove that...so far this little concept has had its tail stretched , its nose stretched in two ways , alternative bonnets , doors , no doors , short body , long body , various screens , lights etc etc.....and I haven't seen one I don't like yet...

Gary, when you get your books back from the accountant can we have an updated list of kit numbers?
Even if iyou can let me have a handwritten copy, I can get it up on the forum. You know how keen we are to find out the number of our own one!

Nice to see a few more builders adding their details but I'd love to see some photographs.

Question for Gary
Gary, does my bodywork have a number?
Is it 52.5 because I didn't have a frame?

So reading the revised ribble website, I clicked a few links and ended up here.
Just curious as to how many Sammio kits exited the moulds.
One for the historians.
Gary?
