Headlamp Relay

Has anyone used the headlamp relay from the rover, or indeed an aftermarket one. Just intersted to canvas a few views, and also I see there is a resistor in the circuit. Marlin obviously feel these are not required, so I can only assume this is ok, but nice to get that additional comfort factor.

I didn't use the resistor in my circuit. I have the angel eye headlamps.

Hi John.

I think what Steve means is using an actual relay to switch one the headlights like in the donor. I did not use one.

I haven't yet wired one in on the big fellas project as the haynes manual shows no relay and the switch wiring is chunky enough to handle the main and dip beam with standard bulbs only.. hence the yet, dependant on rating of bulbs he's going to use!!
