How about Replibarchettica?

Oh, hang on, google earth shows that as the next village along from Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysilio gogogoch. Now there's a name for a car...

When i took my car for inspection I gave the guy my forms and had a chat. He said no worries and would sort it out. I got tribute 250 GT ( O got lost between Truro and Swansea ) Perhaps thats the time to charm your way to a decent name ! Or perhaps i was just lucky to find a DVLA inspector who liked cars !

Strictly speaking your 250GT is correct, Ferrari convinced the racing authorities at the time that the 250GTO was just a development of the 250GT and therefore they did not have to build 100 GTO's in order to get it homologated for racing. If you look at the VIN plates of the originals against model they all say 250 GT. Time to take off my anorak
