Just remembered that you may not be able to view it:

Quick Sale - 2002 (52) Mazda MX5 Mk2.5 Sport in Blue

Perfect donor material for an MX5 based kit, with the option to drive it around for a few months to check everything is ok before stripping it for the donor parts

Purchased this a month or 2 ago as a project to get sorted and have a play in over the winter.
However, need to free up some cash for the race season and second race car!

The car is a Mk2.5 1.8 S-VT Sport.
Currently no tax (but will have 6 months if full asking price is agreed)
MOT until 03/14
Newly refurbished 16" Alloys (look fantastic!) with 205x45x16 Goodyear F1 tyres with loads of tread
Full leather interior with heated seats in excellent condition - no rips/tears
I think it's a mohair roof - no rips/tears and in good condition with Glass HRW and matching tonneau cover.
6 speed gearbox with LSD
New front discs and pads
Electric windows/mirrors/aerial

Here's a few pictures of it when I picked it up. Since then I've replaced the drivers door and front spotlights, refurbished the wheels and fitted new tyres:

Bad points:
As with a lot of Mk2s and 2.5s there is rust. The arches are starting to go.
There's a small knock on the passenger front wing
A small crack in the rear bumper on the passenger corner (but I have a replacement bumper in the garage I can supply FOC with the car)
The rear drivers 1/4 has a dent next to the door (you can see it in the pic)

I'm looking for a quick sale on this as I need to get on with the Mk3 but the funds are tied up in this, so wanting what it currently owes me - £1650.00
Car is located in Gloucestershire

I will get some updated pictures this week to show the car as it is now.

If anyone wants it and isn't a Member, PM me a contact number and I will pass it on for you

Hi , fairly new on here but thought you guys might have an interest in this . It's for sale by a friend of mine and is perfect for a donor as it is a solid and roadworthy example with 1800/manual engine and box and a nice tidy interior. Full Mot and 6 months tax - drives great.
The price is being forced down by the lacquer peeling on front and rear bumpers - something that won't concern you guys but makes this a cheap car !!

He's asking 825 and is open to realistic offers.

Car is in Bournemouth about 20 miles from Tribute Auto's.
