I have done nothing to audio and probably need to. Some bits may have been speeded up as I was always withing ht appropriate speed limits.
It was a wet Sunday and I was bored. Let me know what should be added / removed / altered and I may have another go and spend some time on it rather than knocking these two minutes out over a bottle of wine.
Feedback welcome.

I like it, its almost like a professional production that has been deliberately filmed to look a little rough and ready, although when it cuts from the dash to door cam it nearly blows the speakers out, did the camera flip by accident when you drove over it? If so lucky flip, if not its a stroke of genius, sounds good for an auto too. Ed.

Camera flip was a fluke but needed to be used.
Didn't have time to do audio.
Thanks for the comments

WCA - I liked it.
Although I hope your new camera has some protection from the stones, water and Z300s you are throwing at it.
If you get a sunny day you should attempt to recreate the opening scenes of "The Italian Job" (minus the car crash).
Then you could have "On days like these" as your background audio track.
Cheers, Paul.

After my last conversation with Basingstoke magistrate I daren't!
Some parts may have been speeded up for dramatic effect.
Camera seems pretty bullet proof - at least WCA proof. It is an aluminium case and waterproof up to 25 metres. Only down side is there is no screen so you have to guess where it is pointing.

Forgive me dragging this old thread back up from the dead...
WCA - I've just bought a second hand GoPro from Ebay and was wondering what mounting arrangement you used for your side view of the wheels in the video clip you posted?
Also, did you create any more driving videos and have you any general filming tips you could pass on?
Cheers,
Paul.

I used gaffer tape
For advice I would recommend not using me as an example.
A pro videographer friend said watch something you like or you want to emulate with a stop watch and note pad. Edit like they do.
Top Gear style action sequences won't keep the same camera shot for more than 2-3seconds. Find the climax in the footage and link that to the climax in your music and edit the time back from there. Film for hours with as many camera angles as you can and edit ruthlessly.
High art movies want slow long pan shots or gradual zoom to detail. Music and ambiance to suit. Make the movie the star and the car just an actor.
What ever you do, don't try to keep real world time and film time in synch, poeple will not notice if you are any good. I am not any good and the whole footage of that film is two car parks And the road in between. I think it looks like a lot more driving. Most the time was spent moving the single camera around.
Get more cameras. Camera phone, Go Pro, friends phone. You need about 25 minutes raw video for 1 minute of footage

WCA - Thanks for the great reply and don't sell yourself short as I liked your video.
Despite having nothing higher than the hill at Harrow to play with, I am going to attempt a low budget version of opening sequence of 'The Italian Job'.
By chance, I seem to have followed part of your friend's advice already, as I have made a very rough 'story board' of the camera angles/clips used in the original film.
Hence my desire to get some 'side of the car' footage with the front wheels turning, even if there are no snowy mountains in the background.
Thankfully, 'On days like these' is quite a short song, but I still expect it will take a lot of filming to be left with just a few minutes worth using.
Cheers, Paul.

That's funny Paul, it's not like you to want to cut something up and stick it back together so it looks different, now is it...
