I'm about 2.5 hours away from Exeter I'll see what the weather is like at the weekend, you might see me (and probably Richard) there!

I've always got my eye protected due to wearing glasses - my sun glasses do provide better protection than the normal ones. I got one of those hats where both ends are open so you can use it as a scarf. One round the neck and up to cover my nose up to my glasses and the other as a hat

And if its really bad I've got a bike helmet

I did end up with fly splattered on my glasses last time out, had to stop and clean as I couldn't see anything out my right eye!

It did rain briefly and it is like having tiny needles thrown at your face!
