Default Fuel Pump and Level

This is my fuel pump showing the cut and flared inlet and outlet.
I have replaced this pump with a Walbro 220 lph high flow pump that is an easy replacement for this old stock pump. IMO it's worth just sorting this one out before you decide you need more power!

Note the turbo donor cars have a separate level sensor for the tank. You'll need to cut another hole in the top of the fuel tank for this.

A good question was raised by another builder and that was "fuel surge". TBH at the track I have always ensured I had a full tank of fuel before going out. I have not had any problems with this BUT it's on the list of "things to do" for next year.........

cheers,

john
