Hi Tony, Do you think you could message / phone me; ref your dateless number plate. i have found some on ebay. Wonder if it's same guy you got yours from ? I am a little concerned about sending original logbook to a stranger on ebay, particularly a "one man band" with lowish feedback.
We met at the Tribute open day earlier this year (I bought Hammy's car).
Your car is Loooooooooking good.

Cheers, Chris

Hi my plate was from John Duncan, the transaction was as smooth as a babys bottom, his number is 0771 5871628, I bought the chepest he had at the time (about a year ago), someone said there are irish plates for a tenner, not sure if this is the same guy but I had no problems. He was from Co. Antrim and I would recomend him. Hope your kit is going well, thanks for the kind words! (rememember meeting you as you had a hat, I got sun burn)

Just checked and he is still on ebay at £20 for UU4xxx plates. Seems to be the cheapest on there.

Went to my local scrap yard today and got some shorter gas struts for the boot, Saab 9000 bonet ones work a treat, also saw a rather sad tired Jag so I bagged the side repeaters as my MOT is looming and I'm not sure if it will pass without as its a 93 car.

More filling and sanding done today, thought I'd post a picture of the boot with the gas struts, old mazda hinges cut reversed and refitted as mounts.
