The wheels look great! I've looked on previous pages (probably not diligently enough) and can't find details....... What are they?

Thanks Chaps,
Wheels are Calibre from Demon Tweeks with spinner mod (ebay USA).
You will notice, missing door handles and mirrors and some electrics on rear to do still before MOT.
Cheers

Looks excellent, the paint work is very striking. The car has a retro mixed with a TVR, vibe.
On a separate note, the cleanliness of your work area puts me to shame...

Thanks everyone, comments much appreciated, however still lots more to do including detailing. I am very happy with the prep and paint that has been achieved and it is of a standard that I could not of achieved, which I thank Nubodi for, I have to say there were a few glitches but they were all resolved to my satisfaction, so for me worked out fine. This gives me a great basis to build and finish the car that I envisioned and can't believe I've been working on this car on and off for just over a year now.
Can't wait to drive it around and use the damn thing!
I'm a little worried about the pending MOT as can't seem to bring height of main beam down even at fully adjustment, probably going to have to shim them for mot, or let air out of front tyres, anyone came across this already? Suggestions?
Thanks,

ericholm - Well done Andy, the car looks amazing.
I particularly like this "Secret Garden" photo.
Although the one with the front lights on runs it a close second.
I'm sure someone on one of these forums had to shim their headlight bowls for the MOT.
( I'll have a search later on. )
Good luck, Paul.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but what company alloys did you use and what size plus tyre combo?
EDIT: sorry I'm blind loads of info on the wheels doh!
Do the rears catch the arches? They Look very close?
I just bought some fyk ed2 wheels which are essentially the same design but ET10 offset

I need to shim my headlights bowls for the next MOT. The chap who tested it suggested it was a "sympathetic" ticket and I put some air in the tyres to get the angles right. What a nice man, I shall use him again next year.
BTW - and not wanting to derail the thread - I have fitted a wooden steering wheel and then a circuit to override the air bag light on the dash. My MOT man said that even with this it should have failed as, because of the age of the car, it should have an air bag fitted. We eventually agreed that the car was supplied with the original steering wheel fitted and we were both happy.
Anyone else been asked to fit the original, air bag equipped, steering wheel just for the MOT?

Thanks I also need a sympathetic mot tester as I am sure things will need adjusting, read lots of forum points about wooden wheel swap, I have light on dash that goes out after ignition as have passenger bag in place. So hopefully will be ok with that, also read mot test rules to make sure, we will know shortly though! All the best.

Ha ha working remotely on phone so didn't see your edit, I have adjustable suspension on rears and some thicker shims under them to get ride height correct, not touched to my knowledge.

Love it, well done.
I wonder if it is possible to source the front side indicators with clear lenses? I love the look of the clear headlights, spots and front indicators, sort of put a modern twist on it.
I notice you haven't fitted the door mirrors yet, I have the same mirrors and found the rear visibility awful so i bought a pair of
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1420849851...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
these have convex lenses and give much better rear visibility, the originals will go back on Ebay.
I also bought a cheap set of HIDs for the headlights, I think I will leave them out for now if they are going to project too high.
Love the bonnet catches but still not keen on the fitment of a bug screen ion the bonnet.
