I was wondering if anybody knows if Metisse sportscars are still going

I'm in a position to change my car and I've been looking for a family car replacement, and it occurred to me that this would be something different to ferry the family around in

Also what would be a decent price for a used one if I could find someone willing to sell it?

A Google search brings up the phone number, including a link to the Madabout-Kitcars manufacturers' section. Have you tried phoning the number listed there?
