Yes, sites fault. Hosting provider are changing some file permissions due to some e-mails being sent from the site. They are seeing it as suspicious activity when it is just PM's, general notifications and are locking files. Think they have upped their monitoring and are being a bit over zealous.
I will raise it with them.
Cheers, John

Sorry for the confusion.
The affect is site wide so not targeted at any one individual.

For the 3rd for 4th time now our web host has disabled some files that stop the forum from working as they are seeing 'suspicious e-mail' behaviour. You will probably have got an 'Access Denied' message at some point when trying to view the forum, this is the result of them disabling a couple of files.
The thing is, I'm not seeing anything untoward. Can anybody tell me if they have received spam e-mail from the forum in the last week or so. E-mail would have been from me at this domain.
Cheers, John

Well, in order to post under the new forum rules, I know a bit more about Duttons than I did before.
Jokes aside, I haven't had any odd emails and I try to report SPAM as soon as I see it.
So thanks JG for keeping us on line.
Cheers, Paul.

Thanks for the replies. I thought as much as that was what I was seeing.
An update re having to answer questions when posting. I have changed this so that you won't see this to post to the forum. You will still see this for searching the forum, using the contact form and registering.
Cheers, John

Yep, apologies but it's the host and their automated detection systems that keep disabling a vital file even though I've told them numerous times to stop f&%king doing it as it's driving me up the wall
Rest assured I am trying to get them to see sense.
