Hi Gary
I second Phil's comments good to see you back.
You posted a picture of a yellow Ferrari on the forum last week, that is the picture pinned to the wall of your workshop in Poole that inspired us to take on the G46, pleased we did and pleased to be able to get back to it soon, hope we do your creation proud.
Peter

The car arrived unharmed as agreed ...The transport guy was a young Polish lad who travels all over Europe picking up jobs on the internet etc..and sleeps in his truck when away ...Bournemouth to Foggio , Italy - £800 and delivered on time , no messing ...can't argue with that.
Here's Mario sat in the Sammio in his garage taken earlier on today ...

Second car update ....Slowly getting into this one as I have a D type project I give 5-6 days a month to for the customer and have just finished playing about with a Jago Jeep project for someone else .
Today I managed to get her running , only a 50% exhaust , so loud but running ! First time for quite a while , I believe , but she sounds good.
Discovered sitting around doesn't do the master cylinders any good , so 2 on order to tackle the brakes and clutch systems which , otherwise look pretty decent ....

Have made a start on the car ....dashboard , tunnel , fuel tank etc all started.
Front end fitted utilizing the original front bumper bar and a tubular bracket swivelling around it , very simple idea that Chris at Tribute suggested and works if a smaller radiator is used ... hosework completed for that as well , but no expansion tank on yet ...
I suspect that these pictures are probably of more interest than my ramblings ...

Coming together nicely, I do like the shin protectors on the boot outriggers.

SOME PROGRESS...Car runs , has brakes , clutch needs freeing off but shouldn't be an issue ...
painted , stencilled and patina'd to look like 50 year old paint !
not too much left to do now .....

I like it Garry
You are doing well at saving them and putting them on the road.
I love the "La Carrera Panamericana" idea

Thanks mate ....they still need plenty doing but just trying to get the hard bit out of the way ...The one that went to Italy was MOT'd but needed going through ...this one has had the chassis painted , brakes overhauled etc but body not bonded so it can still be pulled apart for 'restoration'
Patina'd paint and period signwriting ...painted not vinyl , btw .. is just a bit of fun to show the cars potential really ...
