Looking very nice Mike. Vinyl has arrived after a trip around the estate and I'll get those numbers sorted to put the finishing touches on.

Nice car
I am having trouble fitting the boot lid
As there are no flat even surfaces to fit a hinge, I am only left with a "lift-off" option.
I know as the boot will only hold the spare and a few tools this should not be a problem but I am not sold on the idea.
Anybody have a differant opinions or idea of fitting the boot lid ?

I plan to use BMW E36 and E46 bonnet hinges. For my bonnet and boot. You just need to fix/mould vertical edges on the inside. The hinges are good because they have large fixing surfaces and they lift upwards before tilting, so they avoid curves.

Andy at Ribble HQ, cut me some decals and I just could'nt wait to try them for size and colour.
So although I should have waited untill later I fitted them over the weekend.
Mike at Miglia thought "off white" would be a good colour for the decals but I was only able to get this darker shade.
All-in all I think it's spot-on, so many thanks to Andy for the decals and a mention to Mike for the colour idea

Now that is a pretty looking car (Direct quote from Andyp85 which I thoroughly agree with).
I'm certain Gaz will have something to say about it too

Yes, I think 2 numbers in a roundel looks better.
This is number 5 of the original 8 G-46's built by Sammio hence the number 58.
There will be a small "of" added later making it "5 of 8" much like "7 of 9" from the STAR TREK series.
Ones got blond hair the others got a blond stripe but I think the curves are just as good on both

This is my favourite Star Trek character -
In case you're wondering, it's Sub Commander T'Pol on her day off.

Oh, the ears are still there, they're just hidden under all that hair. All that lovely hair...

Judging by the sale price of "No 1", it'll be on E-Bay in a few week with a reserve of £6,000.
Unless it's sold before hand, anyone interested
