Loved the idea of sand blasting the chrome sills and getting a logo etched in but I am soon going to have to pay out on the finishing and painting, so a cheaper option is polishing with autosol and having a sicker made, this is just a paper mock up.

Graphics back and fitted, looks better than "here's one I made earlier" mock up I made, this was just a cheap option for, looks better and less Mx 5.

Obviously you could have anything printed to cover up the word roadster, but as I am putting Ferrari badges on I thought I would continue, its a bit of a nod towards it anyway as a 250 GTO convertable was never actualy made by the company, not with the same front as this kit, (there is the flat fronted California as in Ferris Beuler's day off) its not an exact replica anyway, but a but of fun, the closest I could find was the non bearded drummer member of ZZ Top, if you are old enough to remember them, he has a red 250 GTO soft top, coachbuilt on a SWB GTO chassis in the 80's at great expense.

Just to add confusion my wheels are genuine and came off a 1982 308, and my car will be white, Ferrari did not paint their cars white before 1982, so it a mish mash, and of course its a Tribute (Mx 250c to be exact).

Thanks, still not sure about the brown mats though, they are the Eunos Vspec ones, may change them. Anyway back to sanding!

One door done, its a lot easier filling metal than fiberglass, as you have something to work back to.

Re: badges, keeping mine simple, no large yellow wing stickers, just front back and wheels.
