Looking forward to this - though you're a bugger for punishment!
Can you share your plans or are you going to keep us in suspense :-)

Colour will be matt black, or maybe matt blue. Il be going for the modern look with carbon fiber bits and bobs and some new style alloys.

The front lip spoiler will most likely be carbon fiber but ive seen too many wraped cars look sh!te, peeling etc. most of the chrome bits you see on the car will be geting hydro-dipped in carbon fiber pattern aswell. Ive seen some work done by these http://www.hydro-graffix.co.uk and it looks spot on.

I had the roof of my Alfa wrapped in carbon effect Dynolok which is regarded as good stuff.
It lifted the lacquer and bubbled badly so I ripped it off and re sprayed the roof. I won't touch wrapping again apart from for pressies.
Regarding the bumper, isn't it a matter of cutting a hole to suit the shape and using something like the Merc bumper shown above with DRLs? Or perhaps for a cheaper non-Merc alternative how about a home made solution, particularly if it's to be painted a satin colour. Why not ask Scottie and his one big arm - he's an expert at bumpers. Or ask WCA if you're looking for something with a clock in it

How about modifying one of the custom VW Beetle Porsche style front bumper spoilers from Bodykits.net and adapting it to fit the Kobra ?

I bought a 3 series last week with these alloys on....
Theyr 18" with wider rears, I thought they would look nice on a modern look cobra but Im now thinking the bigger, the better!
I have a set of 20" insignia alloys sat in the garage il try on tomorow a d see how they fit....

Does anyone know of a car that has a similar front bumper to this..
ie. the holes on either side with the fins through?
Even if its somewhere near or similar look. I can then buy a bumper from said car and hopfuly cut the bits out and get them grafted on the front of my cobra?
Any help is appreciated even if you think a certain bumper doesnt look the same but would look better!

Danny – I was actually thinking about your front end on the way to Sainsburys this evening.
I didn't see anything that was a very good match, but these were the best I saw.
Good luck, Paul.
