Its all very organised? Will you paint any of the gearbox? Did you buy any rebuild kits for the box or gearchange?

looking great Andy, excellent progress!
Wait until it is rolling and then I bet you won't resist the urge to try the frame on and then the body! It gets us all at that point!
That's when it starts to really motivate you
Don't forget to take a photo with yourself sitting in it with a big silly grin on!

I'll only paint the black bit of the gearbox when I do the engine and the only rebuild I'll be doing will be to the remote that currently feels like . . . well very sloppy anyway.
Due to the way I'll be managing this build, the first sight of the body will be when it comes back from Dorset with a coat of paint on it. I will, however, be fitting the frame, hydraulics, fuel and electrics prior to that so I'll effectively have a 'moon rover' photo

Did i read this wrong?
'when it comes back from Devon with a coat of paint on it.'
It sounded like it was all finished for you bolt on...

Ah! I see. No, I'm finishing the moon rover first and shipping that down to Dorset for body fit, V5 changes and paint job then back to me for the cockpit fit, lighting and other finishing touches so the shut lines will already be sorted at Gary's place.

I think you mean Dorset, where the cream teas come from
Gary's at Holton Heath, near Wareham in Dorset, so not as far as Devon.
..... unless you mean a different Gary?

All the bits are looking really good and I love the colour you've chosen. Can't wait to see a row of these parked together - from the cockpit of mine of course.

I've just helped load the chassis onto the powder coater's flatbed van
This weekend I'll be continuing to clean and paint bits and pieces ready for the build. As long as this weather holds I'll soon have a line up of freshly painted bits setting in the sun
Photos will appear when the chassis is back. Hopefully on Monday

I'm afraid not. It's due to be finished tomorrow due to some more repairs to the tail end uncovered once they blasted it.
I'm glad to say the centre section is stunning though. I'm away for the weekend so should be picking it up on Monday. I'm aiming for a rolling chassis with newly painted engine sat on it by next weekend. Here's hoping!

Look what just arrived!
To say I'm pleased with the results would be an understatement!
Now the real fun begins if this rain ever stops
