Default Classics at the castle 20th July

If anyone is near Sherbourne Castle on Sunday 20th down here in the sunny South then there are worse things to do that spend a while walking around the classic car show.

I will be somewhere in the Classics section of show field A

Hi look forward to seeing you there. I think the grilles stayed at Stoneliegh with the gazebo which blew down on Sunday. Sorry.

Car cleaned and polished. Sat here sweating in the sunshine watching the storm clouds approaching.

Back, bathed and opening the beer.

Will post pictures when the heat from sunburn means I an not face down in a sink of water every 2 minutes. Note to self, take seat, sunshade and water next time.

Loads of interest in the car. I love watching grown men struggle with their pride for five minutes or so before they wander over and ask what it actually is. Ginneta and MG have been added to the list plus a few dismissive - it's just an MX5 comments.

Big show and an interesting mix from mg owners to rs2000 to Bugatti and some lovely jaguars that were the featured marquee.

Looking at the other cars made me wonder - Chris, do you still have that V8 from the LS kicking about? Have you offered it up to a Z3 to see if it fits? Just curious...

Hi , Sorry missed your location message . Dont do much internet on phone.
We were by Auction Marquee and main drag in . Only pale blue Anglia 105E there. (Only two in whole show) . Amazing show, such diverse and quality vehicles, who needs Festival of Speed !! Stayed until 5.30 watched all vehicles leave and finished our picnic.
