Well sort of - the engine has been started!! as I'm not building it I wasn't there but I hope to hear the purr of a silky smooth bmw 2.5 this weekend!!

keith the builder has passed on the comment that it sounds good!

yes, I managed to get a quick turn round the car park at vindicator on saturday.

Still grinning.

There's no dashboard or interior yet and the "journey" was made more exciting by the way the seat wasn't attached and slide backwards when you pressed the brake pedal.

managed not to stall it at all which is more of a comment on the torque of the engine than my abilities but it felt very smooth and quick. Didn't get out of first though!

Hopefully SVA early Jan.......

I have a vid but haven't put it on the site yet....
