Not mine,

Somehow registered here in France , maybe why it's called a Triumph Dolomite Roadster! Not seen this before though..

Pops - Thanks for the link.
I've seen one photo of this car on Google, but wasn't 100% it was a Sammio.
Good to see them being offered for over €30k!
But I have to ask, what is that HUGE red light on the dash for?

Good question regarding the light, thought it could be a gear change indicator but why it's so big I've no idea..
I will be watching this closely, it's one thing to ask 30k+ but another to achieve it.
My own is so close to being finished but the thought of not being able to register doesn't inspire me to crack on with it...

That's defiantly a SAMMIO you can tell by the body "imperfections"
As for the red light, I fitted a similar thing on a customer car, it was a rear light unit wired into the oil switch and brake fluid level.
He would tell his passenger to scream and pray if the light came on when he was driving.
Scream to let him know it's on and pray that it's the oil level and not the brake fluid level !!!!
He also told me he would "test" the light to make sure the passenger was paying attention !!
It's actually a very good idea if your running single line braking system

I think they have added a zero by mistake.
Is it me or do the front wings look to different shapes and sizes?
Looks to have been wrapped rather than painted.

Yep looks like they went with the brushed aluminium wrap that I tried early on, good job at covering that aero hump

Interesting ad. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it sold at or near to the asking price as these little Spyders have the ability to drop jaws like nothing else I've ever come across, which does make them very desirable.
Thought I'd just work out the engine power in BHP from the figures given - 160CV (Steam Horse) and 11Ch (Horses) road tax bracket. I found this simple calculator online if anyone wants to work it out for themselves...

's funny, it's not like the French to complicate things unnecessarily.

CERTAINLY BE CURIOUS TO SEE HOW IT GOES .....The aluminium wrap is an interesting approach ..certainly a good way to justify the tape measure issues if it takes on the hand made look ...which they were !!
A Miglia made 30,000 odd euros alledgedly a few years back , the Dutch Sammio long tail made 25,000 euros last year , so its not unreasonable to think it might go high ...
If these cars keep making high end figures , it can only be a good thing for the home builder ...a car retaining its value is cool ...increasing in value is even cooler !!

Again looks like a nice build.

Noisy, hard and tricky to drive. Speedo faulty. Fuel gauge faulty. Tyres foul the arches. All great selling points listed in the description. Shame really as all those issues (apart from noisy) are relatively simple and cheap to sort out. Will probably, and sadly, sell for less than what it's cost in parts.
